Will pressure washing damage my roof?

How long does a roof cleaning last?
Because we kill the algae and moss at the root rather than just rinsing the surface, most roofs stay clean for two to four years. Heavily shaded, damp roofs regrow faster and benefit from a maintenance schedule.
Are those black streaks permanent?
No. Black streaks are a hardy algae called Gloeocapsa magma, and a proper soft wash removes it and the staining it leaves. Once it's treated, the roof returns to its original color.
